Mayor’s Message

I would like to congratulate Blake Cevering and Sara Fawson for their election to the North Ogden City Council, and to thank them and all of those who ran and for the positive campaigns everyone led.  We are fortunate to live in a great country where we get to freely and fairly elect our own leaders.  Public service is a great honor and all of us who you have elected thank you for your confidence and trust.

As we close out this year and focus on friends and family during the holiday season, I want to assure you that your North Ogden City team continues to work very hard.  During November we completed multiple important infrastructure projects for our city, including finishing the new skate park,

breaking ground for the amphitheater expansion, installing a new pressure reducing valve on 3100 North for our water system, and nearly finishing the new animal shelter at the new Public Works building.

Our Parks employees have been busy putting up holiday decorations and prepping our parks for winter, and we have received shipments of two new snow plows with wings.  These new trucks will enable us to improve the speed and efficiency of our snow plow service this winter.

We have also picked up leaves from thousands of houses in the city!  It has been a busy year in North Ogden and next year is shaping up to be even busier.

Happy holidays and Merry Christmas!

Brent Taylor,

Mayor of North Ogden
