Hometown Heroes

Veterans have played a significant role in shaping the history of our great country. They have fought in wars, intervened militarily, and have served as peacekeepers. Their contributions have protected our freedoms and the freedoms of others around the world. The country sets aside a day in November to honor those who have served in the Armed Forces. In North Ogden, we celebrate for an entire week! I invite you to participate in the activities in our community as we recognize the service and sacrifice of veterans around the country, and particularly in our community. It has been said about those who have served our country, “We don’t know them all, but we owe them all.” We do know the veterans shown below as they are employed by our city and continue to serve you every day as they keep North Ogden a great place to live. There are many veterans in our city, and I invite you to seek them out and thank them for their service. God bless America and God bless our great community!
