Clark has been employed by North Ogden City for 38 years, the past 33 years with the Police Department. During that time Clark has been instrumental in the success of the department and the establishment of the professional, customer service-oriented culture that the Police Department is so proud of. Clark has held nearly every position in the department while making his way to the rank of lieutenant. Most recently Clark was tasked with acting as interim chief while the City was in a transition between police chiefs. Without complaint Clark took on this task in addition to his current lieutenant duties. Clark remained a team player and maintained a professional, respectful demeanor during this transition. He put in many long days and long hours to ensure that the Police Department continued to operate without the slightest hiccup. This was just the latest testament to Clark’s dedication to the City and the Police Department.
