• The council has recently modified the rules regarding fences in the front yard on corner lots. This allows for a little more flexibility in fence sizes to help protect pedestrians and property owners.
• Public Works gave a presentation on snow plowing in our city and discussed when trucks are called out and what is expected from the plow truck drivers. • A private citizen group associated with Parks and Trails in North Ogden approached the council about publishing a survey to obtain information about the types of facilities and activities the residents would be interested in seeing in the city. The council authorized them to utilize city resources if they included a question asking for feedback on whether residents would support increase in taxes to cover the types of facilities and activities identified by the survey. We expect an update on the survey at a future date.
