Brent Chugg agreed to support, obey, and defend the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of state of Utah. On Jan. 19, 2018 he said he will discharge the duties of his office with fidelity when he was sworn into office as Mayor.

Mayor Brent Taylor said the board member for the Sewer District must be reappointed every four years in an email before he left. The council decided to follow Taylor’s suggestion and reappoint him to the board and appoint Mayor Chugg as the temporary board member.

The council will next meet on Feb. 6, 2018 which will be a work session with the Planning Commission.
